How PDO Thread Lift Works
At Peel Haus, we use PDO Max Threads. Some companies offer dissolvable threads that are promoted for use as a Thread Lift, however PDO Max threads are distinguished by a number of criteria. In contrast to other PDO threads, PDO Max threads are FDA-cleared as a thread that comes from the distributor with the thread inside the insertion cannula device. PDO Max is one of only two companies that have received this FDA clearance. In addition, the “barbed” construction of PDO Max allows the threads maximum attachment to the underlying connective tissue and skin with a very low failure rate.
Numbing
On the day of your procedure, after cleansing your face, numbing agents will be administered to the treatment regions. Some patients may receive a mix of a local anesthetic and a topical numbing cream to ensure their comfort during the entire therapy.
Marking

Threading
After marking is complete and the treatment area is numb, the threading process will begin. The PDO thread is injected into the subdermal layers of the skin by a narrow, hollow cannula. PDO Thread Lift Recovery

Over-the-counter medications can help these symptoms. We recommend that patients sleep on their back for the first week or so following treatment. This prevents excessive pressure from being applied to the face. It is also recommended that patients refrain from pursing lips, rubbing the face, using a straw, or opening the mouth widely for 7 – 10 days after the procedure. Additionally, high-intensity workouts, saunas, and steam rooms should be avoided for the first few weeks following treatment. Most patients are able to return to work after 1 – 2 days, if not sooner, though there may be mild bruising or soreness still present.
PDO Thread Lift Results
PDO thread lift patients will notice an improvement in their appearance following the procedure, and the results will continue to improve over the next several days and weeks as the swelling subsides and the tissues heal completely. The full results, including plumping and increased elasticity, are typically achieved within one or two months following treatment. Booking
A $50 deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit will be used towards your treatment.
Late Arrival
As a courtesy to others, please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes early. Because we’re on a strict schedule, patients more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled.
Cancellations
We understand that scheduling conflicts may arise. Please be courteous and reschedule or cancel for a full refund at least 24 hours prior to your appointment date. Any cancellations made after this period is subject to a penalty of your $50 deposit.
Payments
All balances of payments must be made in full at the time of your treatment. If payments are not made, an additional $50 will be charged to your bill weekly and your account may go to collections.
