Glycolic Acid Peel
Reveal Radiant, Refreshed Skin
Transform your skin with the power of Glycolic Acid. A favorite among dermatologists and medical spas, the Glycolic Acid Peel in Washington DC is a safe, effective way to exfoliate, brighten, and renew your complexion – with little to no downtime.
A Glycolic Acid Peel in Washington DC is a type of chemical exfoliation treatment that uses glycolic acid – a naturally derived alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) – to gently remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells. This boosts cell turnover, improves texture, and enhances your skin’s natural glow.
Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all AHAs, which allows it to penetrate deeply into the skin. Once applied, it loosens the bonds that hold dead skin cells together, allowing them to slough off and reveal fresh, new skin underneath.
Glycolic Acid Peels are excellent for:

Q: Will I peel after the treatment?
A: Peeling is usually minimal, but some light flaking may occur depending on skin type and peel strength.
Q: Is it safe for darker skin tones?
A: Yes – when performed by a trained professional with the right pre- and post-care, glycolic acid can be safely used on melanin-rich skin.
